His Royal Highness Prince Donald
HRH Prince Donald currently serves as the Head of the Royal Family, embodying a modern leadership style that resonates with the values of today. Born on June 26th,2000, he calls Saskatoon his home, where he actively engages with the community. A passionate advocate for Two Spirit topics, mental health, welfare, and gender and sexual diversity, His Royal Highness is dedicated to promoting equitable policies and social stewardship. In his role as a UNICEF Youth Advocate he works tirelessly to uplift the voices of young people globally, ensuring that their needs and are addressed. Additionally, as the Youth Ambassador for the Downie & Wenjack Fund, he champions reconciliation and understanding between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. His commitment to these causes were recognized when he was awarded the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee Medal in 2023, underscoring his impactful contributions.
His Royal Highness Prince Morgan
HRH Prince Morgan, the elder brother of HRH Prince Donald, born on November 10th, 1996, and resides in North Battleford. Leading a private life, he cherishes his personal time, and graciously attends events when called upon. Although he does not actively use his title, it is reserved for him whenever he chooses to embrace it. His presence is always marked by elegance and a commitment to supporting his family and community.
The Honorable Lady Amy, Mrs. Henri
The Honorable Lady Amy is the proud mother of HRH Prince Donald HH Prince Morgan, born on March 24th, 1977. Currently residing in the serene northern region of Saskatchewan, she enjoys a private life with her husband, Mr. Travis Henri. The couple became engaged in 2022 and celebrated a beautiful private wedding in the Fall of 2023. Lady Amy is a passionate advocate for the Arts, Education, and the protection of elephants, as well as those suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. In Addition to her philanthropic endeavors, she quietly serves in various roles within the school system, reflecting her commitment to nurturing the next generation.
Royal Family - Lineage
The lineage of the Meriam family stretches back nearly 500 years, tracing its roots to Kent, England, during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. Originally spelled with two "R's," the name was simplified to one "R" by Mrs. Persis Merriam in 1778 when she welcomed her only son, John Meriam, who would become the founding figure of the original House of Meriam. John Meriam was born on February 18, 1778, in Oxford, Massachusetts, United States. As the years passed, the Meriam family spread across North America, establishing homes in places such as Sylvan, Ontario, and Lorlie, Saskatchewan.

The family's journey continued when John's great-great-great-grandson, Percy Meriam, settled in Rouleau, Saskatchewan. Percy served honorably as a Signalman with the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals during World War II. He was married to Enda Stewart, with whom he raised six children—Garnet, Avis, Terrance, Linda, Donald, and Alana—before ultimately relocating to North Battleford, where the current Royal House resides.
His Royal Highness Prince Donald proudly carries the Meriam legacy as a great-grandson of Mr. Percy Meriam through Garnet Meriam, embodying the rich history and heritage that spans generations. The Meriam family continues to honor its storied past while looking forward to the future.
Coat of Arms
The shield is supported on either side by two Indigenous dancers in traditional regalia, each posed in movement, symbolizing cultural continuity, resilience, and celebration.

Above the shield rests the crest, composed of a full Indigenous headdress displayed affronté (front-facing), radiating dignity and honour, with intricate scrollwork flourishes extending outward to signify artistry, tradition, and protection.

Within the shield appear three tipis, representing the three members of the family and the strength of kinship and community. Below them stands the figure of a bison, emblematic of endurance, strength, and the sustaining relationship between people and the land.

The compartment beneath the shield is formed of a garland of green leaves interspersed with bright tiger lilies, the official flower of Saskatchewan, symbolizing both homeland and heritage.

His Royal Highness Prince Donald received the title of Prince through a deeply meaningful tradition. As a Two-Spirit person, he was recognized by Indigenous Elders for his natural gift of leadership and was honored as Royalty within his community. The title of Prince reflects not only his heritage and the Meriam family legacy but also his responsibility to use this position in service of others, embodying compassion, guidance, and strength.

Since the accession of His Royal Highness Prince Donald to the throne, the elder siblings of The Hon. Lady Amy are no longer members of the Royal House. However, they—and their respective descendants—remain in the line of succession, and are eligible to become the Reigning Prince or Princess, provided HRH Prince Donald continues to reign.

Rules Governing Membership in the Royal House:

A person shall cease to be a member of the Royal House if they:

Renounce or lose their Canadian nationality;

Are formally removed by Royal Decree;

Marry without the consent of the Reigning Prince.

The Royal Regency:

A Royal Regency shall be established in the following circumstances:
Upon the death or abdication of the Reigning Prince, if the heir is:

Not yet identified within the hereditary line of succession

In the event the Reigning Prince is temporarily incapacitated, whether due to illness, injury, or undergoing a medical procedure, a Regency may be appointed to fulfill the sovereign's duties until recovery or succession.
